I was hoping to get my SVA done in a couple of months. I believe the guy is off for about 6 weeks.

Is that confirmed?? I got my date for a week on friday in Glasgow FFS 400mile round trip.
I'm going to call and put it off to a later date but don't know how much later or IF I will be able to get it transferred to Aberdeen at all now.

Anyone changed stations before?? how easy is it?

ETA do you know that now you can't direct dial any Vosa site. You gotta go through the call centre type thingy and guess what? all of the sva paperwork is NOT necessarilly computerised apparently so your details MAY NOT be available to the person your speaking to. (mine certainly were not)

I am planning for SVA in Aberdeen, in March or April. But I have quite a few small jobs left to do. I'm am currently stuck offshore Nigeria and can't get anything done, it's very frustrating. I hope to sent the forms off once I get back. Also I have a bathroom to rip out and install as soon as I get back.
I didn't know the Aberdeen guy was off for 6 weeks!!!!

Keith.

Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

Stuart mentioned to me that it was a call centre now, but said I just had to ask to be put through to shrewsbury to book a retest and they will put you through, I think you will find most testers will be of for a few days now and then for training at VOSA for the IVA
