headlight allignment for iva
hi, just wondered how you guys lined up your headlight for iva, i want to do it at home but am unsure, how did you do it?
also i have a breather filter on the petrol tank but no0t sure if this is ok and one it need a one way valve in it?

Dunno, I think normally you need to alter the headlight brackets to adjust the headlights, never tried to use the fuel tank before

Hi mate, saw this post and thought it might be you.
Re: the fuel tank, I've looked it up now and it says at point 12 in 03a (Fuel tanks)
"The fuel tank must be fitted with a vent (to permit release of a pressure build up) which does not exit on to the exhaust or into the vehicle
or be situated at a height that fuel would be likely to leak when the vehicle is driven"
I might be wrong but I think how you have it now they might say "exits into the vehicle"? I could be wrong but that's how I see
it?

yeah am not sure if puttin the brether on top like you say it may leak out.
yeah send mus the info on the other bits, found that guy on ebay that does the tonneau covers

Yeah I think day to day driving would be fine, it's just if it rolled?
I think is where I saw the problem referred to and got the one way valve idea.

For the headlights you'll need a tintop, a garage door and a roll of masking tape (or chalk)

They should let you tweak the aim at IVA on their machine to get it spot on, so take the appropriate spanner with you.
