wheel nuts
had a look through my SVA book,cant see any mention of how many threads the wheel nuts must be on the studs,ive got 6 turns,is that enuf?

I dont think it is mentioned in the manual but I reckon most testers would like to see a couple of threads through the nut.
Rally Design do longer ones and they only charge postage on the wieght not the £8 postage advertised on the site.

There was a thread on this recently. It is something like 6 full turns, which would give you 9mm of thread in the nut. The thread doesnt have to go
all the way through the nuts, thats for sure.

That may be so but it is comforting to see a bit of stud sticking out, an indication that one's nuts are tight!

If you fit alloys with closed end chrome nuts, you cant very well use studs that would stick through the nut...would be a tad dangerous.
