rear wheel spacers
ive just fitted my 205/60 13 rs alloys onto an english axle and not too keen on the look + the tyre is really close to the trailing arm brackets.
considering reducing the width of the rear arch to improve the look or wandering if spacers would do the trick and can anyone advise me where or what
to get or what you have all done to overcome.

I used 10mm spacers and extended studs on mine. I bought them from Rally Design.

Pretty sure there was a post on this some time ago, but sure it was,(mainly), decided that spacers were the way to go. I have personaly used spacers
in the past with no adverce effects, just make sure you obtain good ones. You will of course need to fit longer wheel studs, but thats no big problem.

I have the same problem... shopuld these from Rally Design be OK (Escy live axle)?

...Looking at the price, I think it is less than I paid them for 4 studs on their own a couple of years back!

If they are over 10mm spacers make sure that they are hubcentric spacers or they will give you all sorts of wobbles.

The website doesn't say they are hubcentric or not. Same pic for all tyoes, but those particular ones are for Escort Mk2 and Cortina, so maybe
they are hubcentric for those specific ones... must check

I have the same setup as you - I have drawn up some hub spacers and am just getting some quotes for manufacture. They will be 15mm+ hubcentric, made
from Aluminium alloy. Any interest to you?

I needed 15mm spacers for the back of my dax (granada/ scorpio hubs)
I got the long studs from rally design, but couldn't find any spacers I liked, so I came up with these:
obviously they only suit 5 stud granada hubs - and if you want much more than 15mm they could be 1 piece alloy like the ones you can buy (at 15mm it
too thin for my liking)
Edit: I sould have said mine cost £100 to get machined and £48 for the metal  but there was alot of work in making my ones
