Internal panels Alu or Polycarb

The internal panels on my car, i was going to make them as every one else does out of Alu sheet, but i can get ABS 3mm sheet, in carbon effect finish, would this be ok to use as internal panels or do i need to use alu for safety / IVA, please help as i need to let the supplier know today if i want to place an order.

HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

You don't need to use anything at all!

I covered my tunnel with ali sheet. I used 6mm abs sheet for the boot cover. I find in the sun the abs expands alot and warps between the fixing screws. So my advice is to use ali sheet.

Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

I used the ABS that MK supplied. No problems with it distorting.

However I think a skin of ally, riveted and bonded to the chassis adds a degree of stiffness to the chassis.

So, if you are after ultimate lightweight, go naked.

For an bling finish carbon / carbon effect.

For increased stiffness use ally!

Simple!
