Savage switch

I would like to wire my start button so the light comes on with the ignition, then when i start it the light goes out, any ideas?

just a random thought but what if you used the light as the alternator light?
that way the light will be on with ign but then go off when engine running? I think

That's how David (FlakMonkey) wired his - I asked!

I intend to wire mine in a similar way but may use oil pressure instead? (BEC)

oooh a VERY nice idea!

you have to have a charging light for SVA don't you? with correct markings on it? how does that work? would you have to lights? one on the dash with the correct symbol, and the start button also?

All sorted, i now have the normal batt/alternator warning light, and the start button which goes out when running
