My thoughts are that you haven't provided anything like enough information. Any answers would have to start with more questions, such as does the engine turn over? etc etc

Here's the lost thread...

http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=98247

...and as said we need more info'. Is the whole wiring done or just the engine? Is ther live to the ingnition switch. Just work through the loom systematically checking for live untill you find it. Guess work doesn't work very well with electrics. It usually results in a puff of smoke...and a fire if you guessed really badly!

Where are you? (fill in your location in your profile) Somebody might be nearby and offer to have a look for you.

Seems to me something very basic is fundamentally wrong.
No Earth??
No live at starter/alternator/battery
Fusible link burnt out??
If you have live then do you have IGN live check it at the switch and move on from there Always checking your live against more than one earth point i.e. engine and chassis.
Think of it as a line drawing and start at the battery and probe down each wire in turn.
Also i presume there is nothing like an immobilizer left in the system is there??

If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

well i checked it all out today, got a response from the clocks, turned out it was the earth return that was a bit faulty...no luck with any of the lights though, does anyone know where you can get decent diagrams for the stalks etc??

cheers!
