Great, just great.
All we need right now is somebody successfully suing a "mass manufacturer" of component cars that have gone through the British test
regime for such vehicles. The whole SVA thing was brought in to show the Brussels tw4ts that we could responsibly legislate this type of vehicle and
they need not outlaw amateur builds.
If this highlighs flaws in the system it's only going to do one thing for us - tighten the rules again

Its nothing to worry about unless you have oil lines as the lowest part of your car!??????????
Caterham should know better. Especially for £40+k!

So did the oil just hang on then suddenly dump out? And it's one of those special engines in which a slight lack of oil means sudden
catastrophic failure?
What I mean is did it not sound rough for a bit and he thought "be reet, I'll just keep hammering at it"

sounds like it spun on its own oil, or the driver ran out of tallent but found an excuse
