Pug 106XSI

Can anyone tell me if there are any differences between a standard J reg 106 shell and a XSI shell. If there are any, what are they.

From memory the rear arches are slightly different to accomodate the wheels/arch extensions.

I'm with Marcus, but more blunt...

If you wanna ask questions about a Peugeot chassis, go find a Peugeot forum.

This forum does exactly what it says on the tin.

Don't like it? F*ck off.

All the best....

Watch it - I've got a Peugeot! 306 Cabby tho, not a 106! Don't know the answer to the question though.

Chris

You might be interested in one of my old sites tho (although it's had nothing done on it since we all grew up!) www.speedcentral.co.uk

That's got a lot more style than a 106 XSI but that still doesn't mean he shouldn't try posting car modifying questions in a forum dedicated to that stuff.

This one blatently isn't....

Sooty, don't want to be rude but if you have a look around in the messages, you will see that this website is for people who are building Lotus 7 replicas. It's not a Max Power site at all.

You don't have to leave, you just have to buy a lot of 1" square tube and an old escort and 'the book'

Just out of interest, what did you think this Forum was about?

Oh, and I have a Pug too 405 GTD turbo.

To put you out of your misery, I looked at the computer at work, most of the part numbers are the same except fot the engine and box pick up points (bound to be different), the roof is different, but I think this is down to sunroof options.

if your buildin a rally car go for one of the ex 106 cup cars will work out cheaper in the long run than buildin 1 from scratch and most are still in fairly good nick

To be fair I think this topic would have gone better in the "anything else" section, as most don't mind answering general motoring questions, except me as I don't know anything!

The Chassis section is for Locost chassis really.

Cheers

Do you work at a Pug garage then Mark? Any chance of getting hold of some 2000 spec lights from a 306?

The bodyshop that I work for is Pug (amongst others) Approved, I have access to all kinds of boring tintop stuff, some is OK for locosts, I have a book of line drawings for all kinds of rads, with dimensions in mm's, suspension catalogs with part number qualifiers so you can tell which other cars use the same dangly bits, Hyundai stella, all part nos for front suspension are the same as Cortina!

Pug 306 headlamps, I can get 15% disc new, sometimes we have slightly damaged ones of repairables.
