throttle return spring
I got my throttle pedal hooked up last night and I'm not 100% confident with its action as it seems a bit sluggish on return with very little
resistive feedback on the pedal. At the minute I'm simply using the spring on the carbs.
Would a return spring on the throttle represent a good option? Where could I get one from?

If you are using bike carbs you will probably need and extra spring. I used one that came from a cheapo spring pack - Halfrods and Screwfix sell them
I think.
Just chose one the right length and made a bracket to hold it in the right place to connect to the cable quadrant on the carbs.

Return spring on the throttle pedal is a good idea.
Most good local accessory shops will keep those.
Alt try Rally Design, Merlin Motorsport or BG Motorsport. HTH. Cheers. Pewe

I've hooked the bootom of the pedel to the bulk head with a spring.
I'll try to get a pic posted later.

This sounds like a good option to me, also make sure the cable is running smoothly in its 'jacket'.
Also perhaps a stiffer spring in place of the one you have?
i've bike carbs on mine and not really had a problem but hopefully that helps

i had 2 springs came with my pedal. they're not particularly strong, but them and the carb springs give a good feel to the pedal and a good
quick return.
i don't know if they anything special, but the springs that cam with mine are a spring 'body' with the end hooks floating inside so
they spin round. i've seen others exactly the same sold as throttle springs, so i don;t know if theres any particular reason for going with that

You need to check how the cable is fixed at each end if you are using a spring on the pedal as this may mean you inadvertantly disconnect the cable at
one or both ends or end up with loose cable if / when the pedal returns to its stop quicker than the throttle spring takes up the slack.

This is how I did it, very cheap. It works just fine. I have some springs left over from a selection pack, let me know if you want one.
