if the pinto was running a dgas carb, and filter, then there isnt much in it

Bear in mind that Flak like be built a GTS panther which has taller bodywork designed for taller engines, book bodywork is lower.





Duratec Engine is fitted, MS2 Extra V3 is assembled and tested, engine running, car now built. IVA passed 26/02/2016

Not sure of the height of the Pinto but this might give you some info on the Duratec dimensions (sump suppliers will be able to tell you how much their low line sump will reduce the sump by):
