clutch delay
I’ve got a bit of a problem.
I am at the stage of fitting the engine (1.8 Zetec 105bhp) and gearbox (Ford type 9) together.
The splined shaft on the type 9 doesn’t fit into the Clutch plate.
I did a search on here and found this thread; Zetec Clutch therefore went and
brought a clutch assembly for a 130 BHP 1.8 Escort Zetec. However this will not fit the fly wheel (bolt holes pattern are spaced out to far)
I would guess the Mondeo and Escort clutch assembly are the same bolt hole pattern..
Doe’s this mean I now need to go and get a Zetec 130 BHP fly wheel?
How much should I expect to pay for a flywheel?
Would a 1.8 CVH or Pinto flywheel be the same?

What did the engine come out off and what dia clutch was originally fitted ?
Use a cover plate as per original and use the QH clutch online catalog to pick a driven plate either the same size or slightly smaller with the
correct 25.4x23 spline
