1800 cvh

had my car on the road for a week, looks like ive knocked the ends out, crank looks ok, price for new shells, 120.00 + vat, (tight for cash at mo), rang local scrapyards for replacement engine, no joy, anyone got one lying around, or advise on shells from a cheaper source.

I have a complete CVH, if you need some parts. In Aberdeenshire though.

Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

1.8CVH Main and Big end bearings .25mm

If your crank is standard you would need to get it ground .25mm undersize, which will required anyway if there is any damage to the journals.

Also a set of 0.5mm big end bearings for £15+vat.
