As I recall...

1978 Chrysler Alpine (first car donated when I was 14 – stripped it to bits to see how it worked)
1972 VW Beetle (bought with paper round money when I was 15, did a Baja conversion, sold unfinished - eventually flattened by a bulldozer during a barn fire…went to the very first 'Bug Jam' for bits for it)
1984 Vauxhall Cavalier (wrote it off – head on with lamp post, lucky escape…)
1986 Vauxhall Astra
1978 Opel Kadett Coupe (love another…..but Police insisted I scrapped that one...probably rightly so…right dog)
1979 VW Golf GTi (very early one, small rear lights, nothing but bother but very cool at 18 years old – insurance was silly, thanks mam and dad…however was off the road more than on it, think this one was a ringer..found sand under the carpets, think it had been under water at some point...)
1985 Ford Sierra 1.6 (bought on insistence of parents after GTi trauma – hateful car)
1984 Opel Manta GTE (loved this one)
1988 Ford Sierra GLSi (very quick compared to the manta)
1992 - bad year - Locust 7 - sold unfinished (wasn't sure whether to own up to it on this site, but was young at the time and didn't know better...hopefully never made it on the road!!! These should be banned from production...)
1980 Mk 2 RS2000 (Mike Young car – absolutely totally mint and cost a fortune and I ended up changing the inner wings…)
1978 Mk 2 Flat Front RS2000 2.1 (Dulux lime green…paint your car for a tenner - ran a 48 Webber, and once got down to 8MPG!!)
1978 Skoda Estelle (Honestly, one of my fondest cars – baby Porsche!! Alloy wheels, 5 speed, tacho, sunroof, electric lights – the lot )
1980 Talbot Sunbeam (1.6 on Webbers, full cage, sounded beautiful)
1978 Escort Mk 2 RS2000
1978 Mini
1971 Escort Mk 1 (big wing)
1985 Ford Sierra estate (had a carb so big it once spat and blew apart the brake servo…)
1988 Ford Sierra GLSi
1992 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 sport
1990 Ford Sierra GLSi (got a soft spot for these….)
1997 Rover 214 (bought new for the missus when I went to Saudi for a spell…loathesome car!!)
1990 Ford Sierra GLSi
1992 Peugeot 405D (French crap – broke)
1996 Vauxhall Astra Td estate (best workhorse)
1992 Ford Granada Cosworth (mega thirsty but brilliant)
1989 Peugeot 309 GTi (good fun but broke)
1997 Ford Escort
1997 Ford Mondeo ST24 (lovely car)
1990 Ford Sierra GLSi (minter, had Cosworth brakes – wish I’d kept this one…)
2003 Renault 406 Td Estate (more French Crap – broke)
2000 Subaru Impreza WRX (loved this one)
2004 Ford Mondeo (still owned – 90000 miles covered with only a set of tyres and discs/pads plus a couple of oil changes and 1 set of plugs…)
2004 Nissan Terrano (bought it new to spoil the missus…not as big inside as it first appeared)
1999 Ford Mondeo V6 (big ends went)
2004 Renault Espace (French crap – but missus and kids loved it…I broke it)
2000 Land Rover Discovery TD5 (still owned)
1971 Land Rover LWB Series 3 3.3 Perkins (bought as workhorse while doing house out – recently sold)
2006 Luego Velocity (still owned)

1988 DT125
2000 Suzuki Hayabusa (Donor bike)

Had some lovely memories typing this...

I paid £9200 for mine (new) in 1988...so with depreciation his must be worth £500 or so . I have a reckon, however, he might want slightly more than that. The last low mileage 21 year old RC30 I saw for sale wanted £13K
