Matt,

ZX10 seemed to be the better option when we were looking around, however looking recently the zx10's have crept up in price a bit.

We run baffle plate, andys billet sump and an accusump to be safe, you certainly need baffle plate and billet sump for bikesports pace.

zx10 06/07 is similar engine for less money, possibly just airbox/throttle body differences. Just over a grand for 06/07, 08 is more nearer 2k. I picked up a 2010 motor with bugger all miles on it for £2000 from Malc at Yorkshire engines.

From what i've seen, CBR's at ebay prices are more than £2k.

We were tempted with GSXR however having to go to USA for bits and pieces meant we decided ZX10.

All 3 engines are capable of 180bhp.

Good luck and hope to see you out soon If you have any questions on zx10, feel free to u2u/email or call me.
