Hi All,

Ordered my Steel last night.

In the end I decided on:

Chassis.
25mm x 25mm x 2.0mm wt
20mm x 20mm x 2.0mm wt

Suspension.
19.05mm O/D x 1.6mm CDS tube
25.0mm O/D x1.6mm CDS tube

Rob

The typical S235/1010, off the rack, mild steel that you find at your local steel suppliers is fine for these builds (with thousands of examples of living proof) because, as mentioned, the Young's Modulus is consistent between common alloy steels and the differences between yield strengths will never be realised.
