Visibility splays are for highways not driveways IIRC.

my general rule (very obvious one!) with this sort of thing is to sort it with neighbours first, one way or another!

I would then just do it.

The only way the council will worry about it is if a neighbour reports it

If they don't then all is fine

Plot 3 would have no problems whatsoever.
Plot 5 is a muppet (already had an altercation with him which resulted in him spending the night in the cell and a caution). He'd complain just for the sake of complaining regardless of what the issue was. He has a problem with us parking the trailer on the patch of grass at the side of the house as he looks out of his kitchen window and can see it.

Maybe odd question - if you're going to the trouble of extending sideways there, why not all the way down the side of the house? You can then put a shed or whatever in the sheltered bit...or double gates to allow you to put the trailer inside the fence and away from his view...

I'm assuming the land is yours I still think you need to contact the council as a lot of these modern developments do this to keep it open planned ? And you may not be allowed .

Wow! Thread from the dead lol

Extended the fence as per the diagram. The council came out, took some pictures and we're happy. It wasn't over the regulation height.
The part further forward is classed as the frontage which under the deeds we're not allowed to change, so trailer is parked on the grass there
