I've just defrosted the freezer. How about that then? And I ironed yesterday, it's got a wire on so it's a power tool you know .

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Women are (physically) the weaker sex (there are always exceptions), there's no denying it, but they often prove themselves to be mentally superior and tougher.
I love a joke, any joke, sexist or racial, or whatever, but I also have respect for everyone who deserves it.
I get the feeling that a few people here are disguising their misogynistic beliefs with poor humour.
I'm the first one to crack a joke about Mrs. Rorty (and I bear the scars ), but we share our requisites and tasks. I made my wife's wedding dress (and many other outfits besides) and she was always eager to pull on some overalls and safety gear and grab onto an angle grinder to help me out when I was behind with work.
Good luck to Katherine Legge in her motorsport career. It's a pity there weren't a whole lot more like her because I feel they'd show up more than a few of us "men".

Cheers, Rorty.

Just out of interest have any of you ever driven a Formula one car??

Very sad to see that a number of you find it hard to cope with a women being better than you at something.

For the record I am dissapointed by some of the comments in this thread, some may think they are funny but personally I don't and marriage is a partnership where things should be shared regardless of what they are.

I would think some of your marriages won't last long at the rate you're going!!

Rich.
