Blinkin 'eck!

Your ears must have been burning for a long time, we (WLM) were only talking about you a short while back!

How the devil are you?

Hi.

Well after months of running fairly close to the wind with finances we needed a change and managed to organise a mortgage and buy a place.

Working on our home is first priority and it's costing a few quid to do the things we need to do and a few extras that we want to do.

But..

For the first time since I've known Emma (maybe a coincidence perhaps..) I actually have a few quid back in my pocket and things are looking a bit more dandy.

Needless to say all the gubbins is in the garage and the plans aren't forgotten. Maybe now (or rather when the weather is better) things can actually happen like I've planned but kept stalling for all this god damn time.

By the way, if anybody wants to lend me £1,000,000 I can't see me turning it down any time soon.

Rich.

PS, it's good to see a lot of the old (take the old bit how you want) faces still regularly posting here.

ive got to be up there with you or better...... started my build in May 2000. Its about 80% complete.

Problem ive got is im doing contract work from home in the eve as well as my day job. I can either earn extra cash, or go out in a cold garage and spend it. Subsequently ive done nowt since last Feb. But its sitting there waiting for the right time. Important thing is i havnt sold it on or attacked it with a grinder for garage space.

Someone on the long dead TOL yahoo list - eskco - took 21 years to complete his!
