How to reconize a 2l Pinto

I will be looking this week at a Ford Capri 2.0S, but how do I know that the engine is a 2 liter and not a 1.6?

Are there any reconizable differences between these two engines?

I think there is a '2L' cast in the side IIRC

According to Mr Burton -

"....Cortina blocks usually have the capacity in small numbers on the side - 16 and 20 respectively. Later Sierra blocks have 165, 185 and 205 "

If its a capri and original then it will be (or should be) the older type pinto, so it should have a blue cam cover and that should have 2.0 embossed at the bottom over the Idler/oil pump pulley.
