Zetec Oil Pressure Switch - Connector Identification

Evening all,

I am currently trying to locate a connector block for my Zetec Oil Pressure Switch which looks like the following:

VE706051 Ford Focus Zetec MK II 1.6 Petrol 04 Oil Pressure Switch

Does anyone know what this kind of connector is called or is it a Ford specific one? In either case will it be possible to buy the other side of this connector? If not is it the case of finding a spade connector (female) which will plug into this or getting hold of another compatible sensor with a DIY friendly connector on it?

Have you no local breakers yards
Take the switch with you to make sure the plug fits ,then snip it off
I doubt if they would even charge you

An ebay search for "zetec breaking" always works.....

Apply it to whatever your after, then email the seller for the specific part.

Thank you very much for all the replies. I really hadn't considered the idea of getting one from a breakers. I've emailed TE Connectivity to get a free sample, if that doesn't work ill be heading down to my local breakers.

You just need to register with TE then use their sample ordering system.

Or buy from Mouser - http://uk.mouser.com/ProductDetail/TE-Connectivity-AMP/184042-1/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMvt1VFuCspEMhsCqXACm5kc
