Rolling Road killed my engine CAR IS SOLD

At the end of a very long day I just got the news that my car has dies at Daytuner. I expected nothing else with the shitty luck I have had so far, I now have a further strip down and analysis fee to fund. I expect the bill to be substantial. Therefore I will be most likely putting this car up for sale, it will be sold without or with a siezed engine and will have a host of goodies that are on the car. I will be making a comprensive list of components and parts fitted. Best offers please, car currently at Daytuner if you want to view it.

It seems all the mounts are wrong for the one fitted to say an R1, I don't the money anyway... Its game over I'm afraid, as long as I get enough to pay my debts off, I am not happy, but wont be owing money as such.

Cheers for everyones support but im past caring about the car now. I guess its back to Trikes for me.

Surly this is not the end. Pick up a cheaper compatable engine. You will be gutted to see it go.

Really feeling for you. Try and put a smile on, life is always a battle and kit cars are always stressful.

Hug it out man, hug it out!

Give it a few days for the smoke to settle and you will think clearer no matter what your decision it will be better made when your not in shock.

Gutted for you!!

Such a nightmare.

I think I'm on engine number 5, but then at a maximum of £250 a pop, I can afford to treat them as consumables.

As said, give it a few days and let the emotion die down a bit, find out what happened and make some decisions from there.

Meantime, it's the weekend, so beer, football, F1, beer.

upset arghhhh

im so upset with the whole episode to be honest. I owe money to loads of people, all of which are very understanding

I have no money to buy nuts and bolts now nevermind a new engine.

as long as i walk away from this with no debt then thats ok

If you give people some idea of how much you want for it, you might get more interest and sell it quicker (if that's really what you want)...........

That's absolutely heart-breaking.

Gutted for you m8.

I know the feeling when you own money. I was on overdraft for quite sometime and was so relieved when i payed up everything.

I would suggest not to sell as well. Just spend some time away from it and things will get clear. It is a gorgeous car and you will regret it even more when you sell it.

Mate, feel your pain mate, really do, whats daytuner said, have they any insurance against this sort of thing? I know when I went to boggs insurance wasn't even mentioned so they probably don't usually insure against accidental damage. Surely worth an ask if you haven't already.

Take care mate, hope you get it sold if thats what you have decided to do.

Regards

Rich

How about, selling some of it's expensive goodies, and get some cheaper ones so you can fix it?

I mean, You could get a good price for the alloys, and you could buy some cheaper ones to fit and put some money in the pocket

if it was me i would park in garage and forget about it for a month and watch the footy then and only then decide what to do with the car.

Don't think its a good idea to sell it. How much you want for it? Can't daytuner help pay towards repairing? And did you put the wrong mounts on?
