Thanks fellas, I appreciate you not being able to provide information until the book is out.
It's just nice to know that for those of us who lack certain skills such as welding and working with fiberglass there is still the ability to
build one of these. If only these were the only two areas my skills are lacking I'd of got my car built a lot quicker

Guinness is a damn fine tipple if a little bit responsible for folk falling over due to it's in built gravity removing properties...........

As Chris is unable to answer the question, i'll tell you what i know.
I understand that Haynes are looking to promote both the new book and the existing Roadster book at the Autosports show in January. If i remember
correctly Haynes only release books twice a year, February and October/November time. If they're promoting in January.........

I had a chat via email with chris yesterday and he told me september this year,but this isnt set in stone and sadly the next Autosport show (2011)may
actually be more realistic.
If and when i get more information i will pass it on.

I'm gonna have to get the Indy finished sharpish, always lusted after a single seater like this.
Might even be tempted to sell the Manta to fund it

Might be able to offer some helpful info for alternative diffs for bike engine options.
The key for chain drive is getting one with a bolt on crown wheel, a lot are shrank on.
I've nearly finished a bike engined fiat middy, and used an original fiat fwd diff from a 6 speed gearbox. All it took was an adaptor plate and
some bearing carriers and it works well enough. Not something that can easily be made without a lathe or milling machine but the parts could come in
very cheap if sold as a kit.
The fiat seicento driveshafts are also quite short as its only got a narrow track and might be ideal.
And they mate up to suzuki sj diffs quite nicely too if you need a rwd diff instead.
I can't wait for this book - I will be building one!
