Nose cone to side panel doesnt look right?

well i got the nose cone, bonnet and scuttle all lined up Today.

But where the nose cone joins up to the side panel it doesnt look right.

What am i supposed to do here?




any help on this would be great.

Are the side panels and the nose from the same supplier?

if not cut the pannels shorter not to fully enclose steering and Arm thats what i did

Had a similar problem with my GTS panels.

I cut the corner off at 45deg.



It doesn't look too bad from the front now.

I'd cut a "V" out of the horizontal/underneath part and pull it in to join it, then use the offcut to make a tab across the cut and put 2 or 4 rivets in it to keep it in shape........

just pull them in and bung a rivet in it to hold them

Thanks, it wont currently pull in. But if i cut the bottom off, it should then be nice and flexy and pull in i think.

A lot of Indys Ive seen have that area completely open, which looks as bad IMO. Im suprised its not something theyve looked at designing out or covering somehow.

Why is it bad ? i prefer mine that way...........It seems you never have anything constructive to say. It must be a very negative world you live in
