What hose for a brake fluid reservoir?

What hose can u use? I have access to Nylon and PTFE pipe at work. Would this be ok? Its not actually for the brakes but the Clutch one but obv the same fluids.

The hose on Ebay just looks like standard fuel stuff?

Has to be certified for brake fluid. Either with paperwork to prove it or markings on the pipe. Think Merlin, RallyDesign, etc do it. I got some from a Fiat dealer as it's used on Cinquecento etc.

Some Japanese cars use it as well also Rover 620

Also if you Ebay search on Brembo Hose you will find it. Although strictly speak not require for the clutch make sure you get the paper work stating it is for brake/clutch use.

If you need a small fluid reservoir suitable for the clutch I have one.

Mine are Fiat Seicento hoses, probably the same as the Cinqecento.

A couple of pictures in my archive of marked hoses. The longer one is p/n 46774776, 290mm long, and the other is p/n 46774775, 220mm long. Total cost £8.48 inc vat (2006 prices!!).

If I had known I would have just bought 2 of the shorter ones, they are just the right length.

It just needs to be suitable, not for IVA but safe for use. I have a brembo reservoir that I bought the other day will this hose be ok?
