congratulations.

took me 6 weeks to stop looking for convents when my daughter was born 5 months ago. as others have said, its an amazing rewarding roller coaster and it does get easier as the weeks pass. don't miss out on chances to feed and change her, it does bring you closer.

I've also got a 21 month old - final advice to anyone who'll listen, wait till you have another, two very young is very very difficult. :-)

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Congratulations.

My two girls and now fast approaching 11 and 13 as has been said before, where has that time gone.

One of my favourite things to do when they were small was to lay back either on the bed or the sofa and lay them on my chest. gives you such a warm feeling.

Wait till you have that "OH MY GOD what do we do now" stage when you first get her home. Its like you have brought an alien life form home but its the best job in the world.

With regard to staring them young, my youngest learnt her numbers over 10 by helping me build Tango fetching spanners and sockets for me.

I still remember that moment from our first. wife and I got home, put the babyseat in the middle of the lounge and just looked at each other over it

Was one of the scariest moments in my life but also one of the best
