Would you like it posting on pistonheads? Maybe a few would tag along and cover costs?

Hi Jon,

That would be great, the more the merrier.

You can mention it wherever you think there might interest.

All the details are quoted near the top of page 2 of this thread.

Cheers Frank.

Sorry I said I'd pay on the 15th - was out of the country and foolishly thought my hotel would have usable WiFi! Forgot about it when I got back.

Now paid (Simon Hargrave).

Hi,

I've not posted a list, if I get time I'll post 1, but to be honest not many have told me what they are fetching.
But it ranges from me in my £50 1982 Merc 280e, to various Sevens, to mad Reliant Kittens, to the odd Porsche, and not forgetting Owelly in his tupperware turd...

...but it is definitely a good bunch of people all with the right attitude.

There's still space left if you want to come along.

Well my Phoenix hasn't turned a wheel for two years so I'd like to tag along.
If my mate turns up at lunchtime will he be OK for passenger rides?
Is there tyre changing facility on site or in Gainsborough?

Geoff.

^^^^what he said, about the only main rule is; "Don't take the piss."
Slicks are fine.
Noise is ok, they're more concerned about the type of noise, a loud exhaust is fine, but excessive drifting is not liked, but a bit of tyre squeal on the corners is ok.
They are very sensible about the rules, and common sense is what they go by, more than anything.

Hi Dale,

There's no deadline for paying, but it would be easier for me if it was paid by the weekend before.

Cheers Frank.

I have been to a few tyre shops today in Gainsborough and arranged a discounted tyre swap service for Blyton track users. I seceded on HIQ because I have seen a lot of track cars here and the manager is really helpful and open to listen. It 5 miles from the track toward Gainsborough. You cant miss it if you come out of the track and turn right. Then at the T junction turn left. Go down that road to the Sharp S bend and they are on the left BEFORE the football ground.

They are happy to do the tyre swaps for the following

Upto size 17"

Tyre swap no balancing/ no valve £3
Tyre swap With Valve £5
Tyre Swap with Valve and Balancing £7

Minimum of 2 tyres to get this price.

HIQ
North Street Gainsborough Lincolnshire, DN21 2HS
.

Our opening times

Monday - Friday: 08:30-17:30

Saturday: 08:30-12:30

Fax: 01427 610610

I maybe a very late entry for this. The car is in bits at the moment and the engines on a stand in bits but if everything goes to plan and i get everything back together and running you'll get my money and i'll be there on Wednesday night if that's ok at this late stage? ;-)
