It should be fine, but there are another 4 who are planning to do the same.

Hopefully there will be enough places left, I'm sure I can sort it out.

Bugger me I thought I was on Wednesday! What a tool. I'm still waiting for parts but if they turn up (overdue from last friday) then I'll check if there are still places.

Have a great day guys. It's a shame I've had to miss out for the first time but it's not a good day for me. I'll defo be at the one early season next year if you do one. And possibly in a single seat racer!

Is there any special conditions? I guess we need helmets, but what about race suits, gloves etc?
Am I right in thinking we need to be there before 8pm on Wednesday to camp?

You don't need race suits for a track day (though obviously wear one if you have one) - only stipulations are usually helmet (obviously) and covered arms/legs - i.e. no shorts and tee shirts. Gloves are usually not mandatory but again a very good idea, specifically in a locost style car to protect them if you roll.

Crash helmet, all limbs need to be covered no T shirts particularly in a open car, I believe yes gates will close at 8pm unless Frank can somehow wangle them been open a little longer.

Hi all,

A quick announcement about times at Blyton.

Camping the night before; the gates will be open until at least 9pm, but possibly as late as 9:30-10pm, depending on when the marshal who is there decides to lock them.
So, if you are camping and it looks like you're going to be later than 9pm, call me on my mobile 07815070491, and I will have a word with the marshal.

On the day, the gates will be open from 7am.
Signing on starts from 8am.
The safety briefing is at 9am.
After that it's play time!!!

Cheers Frank

A brilliant day, thanks for organising it Frank!

The drive home in the Mojo was also much more pleasurable with the sunshine you organised for the afternoon ;-)

I've put some pics here:
