Fitted MK Hood (pics)

I was supposed to put this up ages ago but never got round to loading up the pics.

Anyway, here are the pics of my MK hood

(also spot the finished boot lid through the back window - some of you might remember my earlier post where had started to make it)

Enjoy;

And so the transformation is complete - or maybe i should put my cobra 7 seats back in, hmmm.......

Overall i'm pretty pleased with the final result.

That is a really well fitted hood you have there, congratulations! It really looks Fantastic. How do you find the visability out of it? I am going to fit one myself over the winter and just wondered what to expect as I have the same screen and wipers and also mirrors in the same possition already and don't find that it's the best vis at present. thanks. john.
Oh, I almost forgot. I love the 2 tone boot lid it looks great, sure i've seen one somewhere before tho i can't think where.

Visability forwards is fine though the wing mirrors are not that great. I may get some new mirrors that attach to the windscreen frame as these would be more suitable. The view from the rear view mirror is suprisingly good through the large rear window!!

With regards to the boot lid i wanted it to match the dash, and was able to do the design with the left over material i had from doing the dash

Thanks to everyone else for the kind comments, it always makes the hard work just that little bit more worth it!!!
