Blyton 18.09.14, who's going?

Hi all ,

I'm just wondering who is actually planning to come to my next track day on Thursday 18th September?

I'm not looking for definite bookings and deposits, but I'm just trying to gauge the level of interest.
Because so far, it's been a bit slow booking compared to the last 2 days.

If there isn't enough interest, I only have until the end of this month to cancel it, without it costing me the deposit of £600.

Cheers Frank.

Ps, if all goes well with this track day, I'm looking at the next day being at possibly Cadwell Park.

Problem is the day of the week Frank.

As to Cadwell, don't do it! Part of the appeal of Blyton is that they are a little more 'relaxed' with the type and genre of car attending, meaning the eclectic mix who attend, which I really enjoy.

I understand being a Thursday makes it awkward, but that's the only day that's available in September.

To be honest, I've had an email from Cadwell today, that has pretty ruled it out, seeing as the price they've quoted makes it cheaper to book individually than as a group.
I don't think they grasp the concept of a group discount...

Hi Nick,

It's £100 per car and no extra for extra drivers or passengers (although a donation to the charity would be greatly appreciated).
The sound level is 105db (I think), but they don't do a static test, but they do have a sound meter at the side of the track, but I don't think anyone has failed the noise test yet on the last 2 days.

Barring some sort of natural disaster I will be there, I'm also trying to talk a guy from the unit next door to ours attending to, says he wants to but not put his hand in his pocket yet.

Passenger laps will be available, £1 per lap to franks charity, fair?

Thanks for the replies guys, I was getting a bit worried, as it had gone very quite over the last few weeks.

I look forward to you all booking in the near future.

Funds in your Paypal account shortly Frank.

As for Cadwell i/we would be all over it. Think you would get a stronger following too as its a much more popular circuit.

As per the norm i will have a following of around 4 or 5 more peeps for Blyton so dont worry.

See you at Blyton.

Cheers Rob,

It's been busy today, I've had 4 places booked today!!
That's nearly half the places gone now.

I'll be starting a thread about the possibility of a day St Cadwell soon

Cheers Frank.

Right then, who else is coming?
There's only a month left until I need full payment from everyone, and I've still got 20 places left, I'm still 10 short of the day paying for itself.

Is anyone else coming?

Cheers Frank.

It'll still go ahead, even if I have to pay the extra, but I will have to think hard about doing another one.

I'm a man of my word, I've booked the day, so I've made a promise to everyone who's coming, and to Blyton, and I won't go back on that.

Don't worry, we'll still be at Blyton on the 18th of September.
